Mike was certainly an amazing player for Boston, hitting .303 over his 11 year career. Obviously, Speaker, Yaz and Williams were all deserving of their spot on this roster. I think Greenwell could easily be interchanged with Reggie or Dwight or even Rice. I definitely considered Greenwell. He should have won the ROY but came up second to a steroid using Jose Canseco. #39 was a career .303 hitter, he only played 11 seasons but all with the sox, he also has 130 HRs, 726 RBIs, and was a force at the plate. Greenwell will always be a legend in my book, and even though he never won an MVP, he had great stats year in and year out, love the game, and the fans in boston, and I think should be remembered and mentioned alot more than he is.
