Rasheed has always had troubles with technical fouls, and KG should be able to whip him into some sort of shape. Maybe not completely fix him but certainly tone his attitude down a little.

Concerning Davis, I think the Celtics will certainly do their best to get him back. Because Leon Powe has essentially stated he is not coming back, Glen will be the fourth man in a four-man big man rotation with Rasheed, Perk and KG. I wouldn't be surprised to see him back, but if he doesn't end up resigning, it would not be shocking.

I agree that signing Rasheed is a positive move. The culture of the team (non glitzy workman like) will ensure that he doesn't become disruptve to the team, but can get in the heads of some opposing players, a la Dennis Rodman.

I don't think Powe is coming back and with Glen Davis, the Celtics can match any offer that he gets, so they will play the waiting game and see how much he commands before making a decision. The Celts are in a good situation with Davis.

If KG comes back fully fit (you never know with a knee injury), with Raseheed we will be a ring contender again and have a strong inside-outside tandem.

We have to see how Shaq fits in with the Cavs. On the one hand, Shaq could slow them down, but on the other hand he could can still be a formidable presence in the post and Lebron is not a selfish player, so he can draw the defence and feed the ball to Shaq.

Don't be surprised if Glen Davis is back with the Celts.

Good article.
